Heritage Now is a two-day festival that celebrates and reflects upon the cultural heritage of Pakistan. The festival will bring together professionals from Pakistan and various other countries to discuss pressing issues facing the museums and heritage sector in Pakistan through conversation, performance and art.

Heritage Now is supported by U.S. Embassy Pakistan, European Union, University of the Punjab, Alhamra Arts Council Lahore, Luxus Grand Hotel, Alliance française Lahore and AFD.

Its curating partners include ASSITEJ Pakistan, Morango, SAMAAJ, Social Innovation Lab and The Little Art.

The Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters invites all Utah scholars to submit papers for the 2017 Annual Conference April 7, 2017, at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

Founded in 2005, the conference is brought together by a shared interest in the complex and subtle relationships between technology, knowledge, and society.

Call for Proposals for the Utah Symposium in Science and Literature

The Utah Symposium in Science and Literature seeks proposals to present
short (15-minute) papers to the upcoming Symposium “The Provisional
City:  Observing, Imagining, and reMaking Home.”  The Symposium will
address, in the context of the built environment, how new knowledge and
perspectives can help us to reconceive what nature is, and to manage the
impact we now have on every piece of land on earth as well as the impact
it has on us.

The symposium will be held April 12-14, 2017 in Salt Lake City, with panel presentations
scheduled for the morning of Thursday, April 13th.
